Our quotes are fixed-price. Once we agree the scope and the figure, that is the figure you pay — no hidden extras and no surprise invoices. If you later choose to change the scope, we discuss and agree any variation before work continues.
It depends on the scope. A kitchen renovation might take around 4 to 8 weeks; a full house renovation is often in the region of 3 to 6 months. We give a clear programme when we quote, Sam oversees each job, and we update you as work progresses.
In most cases, no. We plan the job to minimise disruption, keep the site tidy, and agree a week-by-week picture so you know what to expect. On larger whole-house renovations we will say if a short period away would be more comfortable.
Our site team is employed by us. That means one standard of workmanship, one programme, and the same people on your site from start to finish — not a changing roster of unfamiliar faces. Where we need specialist trades, we use proven long-term partners under our management.
We provide a 2-year Building Work Guarantee (BWG) on all general construction work, along with a 6-year BWG covering structural defects under our FMB Building Contract. Clients also have the option to take out an extended FMB Building Work Guarantee — insurance-backed cover for 6 or 10 years from completion. We carry public liability insurance of up to £5 million.
We work across all London boroughs. Many of our projects are in South and South-West London (for example Wimbledon, Fulham, Balham, Camberwell, East Dulwich and Bermondsey), and we are happy to discuss projects anywhere in Greater London.
